School of Peace

The School of Peace’s General Objective is to build a community of interfaith youths in Asia who can commit themselves to promoting peace and harmony in their respective communities

What is the School of Peace?

The School of Peace is an ICF program that runs for 60 days. It accommodates a maximum of 15 young people. Its streamlined curriculum seeks to balance the theoretical and the practical.

It integrates the concept of peace based on justice on various levels of human and Earth community life - social, cultural, interreligious, economic, and political dimensions. It is one avenue where young people from different faith traditions could gain essential knowledge, principles, and skills to develop a strong network of the peace movement in their respective contexts.

The School of Peace curriculum includes sections on Religions' Teachings on Peace, Conflict Analysis, Peacebuilding Framework, and Community Immersion. A section on Peace Issues and Practical Skills follows these sections.
