Psyche Mankhin is a Garo indigenous girl from Bangladesh. She is doing her master’s degree on Sociology at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Bangladesh. Recently, she started working as a teaching assistant for an extracurricular course named “Democracy: From Theory to Practice” at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University. This semester-long course is offered under USAID’s NAGORIK project with the support of The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and Micro Governance Research Initiatives (MGR). Psyche served as a volunteer at Bangladesh YMCA since 2011. Her journey with the ICF network started in 2021. She joined the ICF Peace Institute-Training of Trainers 2022 in the Philippines. Her commitment to her community keeps motivating her to work for the people. She has participated in several ICF projects in Bangladesh and is an alternate member of ICF National Forum Bangladesh. She is also serving as a Team Lead in a student network named SAVE Youth (Students Against Violence Everywhere) at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University Since 2022. This student network aims for Peace, Tolerance and Diversity.
