Leónia Lourença Freitas is a talented youth from Timor-Leste. She is an ICF Alumni. She completed the "Mini School of Peace" in Timor-Leste in 2020, and in 2022, she participated in a Training of Trainers on Nonviolent Communication in Dumaguete, Philippines. After completing the ToT, she continues sharing her experience with the Timorese Youth in Timor-Leste. She has facilitated workshops on Nonviolent Communication for more than 100 youth in Dili and Municipalities. In 2023, she participated in a Peace Conference conducted by the Interfaith Cooperation Forum in Thailand. Through the opportunities provided by the ICF, she has learned a lot about how to be a good future leader in the country who fights for peace. She learns through ICF to respect everyone regardless of their race, color, religion, gender, etc.
